Lines
were long, as players waited for their chance to battle
over the green felt of the poker table.
The
one day tournament was still going past 7:00am, as the
last players refused to give up, battling for the CEO
POKER title.

"Blaster" Payne |
Bobby
"Blaster" Payne and Alan Whitmore played the
field of executives and went heads up in a chip stack
war. The heads up match turned when Whitmore went all
in with a Q (Diamond), 4 (Club) suited, that beat Blaster's
A (Spade), 6 (Spade), and placed Blaster on tilt. The
next hand was the last hand, Whitmore went all in with
K (Diamond), 2 (Spade), and Blaster called with a suited
hand, J (Spade), 9 (Spade). The match was long but it
ended rather quickly, the flop came and no one paired,
Whitmore won the last hand with a King high. |
