Whitmore wins first day tournament

Lines were long, as players waited for their chance to battle over the green felt of the poker table.

The one day tournament was still going past 7:00am, as the last players refused to give up, battling for the CEO POKER title.

Bobby "Blaster" Payne

Bobby "Blaster" Payne and Alan Whitmore played the field of executives and went heads up in a chip stack war. The heads up match turned when Whitmore went all in with a Q (Diamond), 4 (Club) suited, that beat Blaster's A (Spade), 6 (Spade), and placed Blaster on tilt. The next hand was the last hand, Whitmore went all in with K (Diamond), 2 (Spade), and Blaster called with a suited hand, J (Spade), 9 (Spade). The match was long but it ended rather quickly, the flop came and no one paired, Whitmore won the last hand with a King high.
